This year our Christmas Eve offering will go toward financing school buildings in Ligotolo, South Sudan. We are very excited to participate with other United Methodist churches in the Chattanooga District to make this happen.
This year we will have our Christmas Eve Eve service on Tuesday, December 23rd at 7p.m. in the sanctuary.
We will conduct a workshop for teachers in South Sudan May 18 – 22, 2015. If you are interested in going on this mission or want to know more, phone Pastor David Hall at 240-0069 right away for details.

Room In The Inn is a local shelter for women and their children who are in need of short-term food and lodging. Christ Church provides the evening meal 2 times a month.
Openings are available in the donut cutting and coffee ministries. Donut ministry involves cutting and setting out donuts for two services; requires 1-2 hours about once per quarter.
Baked Blessings, a ministry of Christ Church, is an opportunity for individuals or families to bake cookies or brownies for people who are homeless.
iStudy: Basic Bible Study for Christians by Rev. Mark Flynn is a daily devotional using key passages from the Bible. You will decide how much time you can devote to this study.
This year Christ Church is encouraging everyone to take time to step back from the hustle and bustle of the season. We are wanting folks to have time to reflect and spend time with loved ones.
Our church family will once again celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ with special Christmas Eve Candlelight Services.
Married with Children is a Sunday School class that will be starting January 11, 2015, for young marrieds with children.
LIFE is an educational and enrichment program for persons 50 years and over. The Winter Session runs from January 8 - February 26 in the Adult Building.

In 2012, two teams began providing a monthly meal to the residents of Partnership’s Family Violence Crisis Center. The Center accepts families in crisis at any time help is needed.

The Care & Share Ministry provides meals for families in our church that are going through a crisis and are not involved in a Sunday School class or small group.
Giving to the Building Fund is exceeding our pledges! If you continue to give at this level, we can totally pay off our building debt in just over ten years at projected interest rates. This is our plan, so please continue to give as you are now giving. If you have not yet started giving to the Building Fund, please do so. We have created a blog to help keep everyone up to date on the progress of Grace Home, the orphanage being built in the South Sudan.
