When life takes an unexpected turn, a meal from a friend is very encouraging. Through a team of wonderful volunteers, our Care & Share Ministry provides meals to families and individuals in times of need…illness or hospitalization…loss of a loved one…during times of crisis.
The Ladies Supper Club will be meeting Tuesday, August 4th at 6:00 p.m. at Red Lobster at Hamilton Place.
Room In The Inn is a local shelter for women and their children who are in need of short-term food and lodging. Christ Church provides the evening meal 2 times a month.
Openings are available in the donut cutting and coffee ministries. Donut ministry involves cutting and setting out donuts for two services; requires 1-2 hours about once per quarter.
Baked Blessings, a ministry of Christ Church, is an opportunity for individuals or families to bake cookies or brownies for people who are homeless.
Daily Bible reading is an essential part of our spiritual lives. However, it is sometimes difficult to find good devotional materials to read. The leaders of Christ Church want to encourage and support you in this important discipline.

In 2012, two teams began providing a monthly meal to the residents of Partnership’s Family Violence Crisis Center. The Center accepts families in crisis at any time help is needed.
Kim Davis, a certified teacher for TCA, will lead this class on Thursday evenings beginning September 11, 6:00-7:00, in the Trinity-Woodmore Chapel.
Inviting others to worship and other activities at Christ Church is easy, but it is also a very, very important thing for all of us to do.
Giving to the Building Fund is exceeding our pledges! If you continue to give at this level, we can totally pay off our building debt in just over ten years at projected interest rates. We have created a blog to help keep everyone up to date on the progress of Grace Home, the orphanage being built in the South Sudan.
