Come join us on Sunday, April 12, for a very special day! We are doing it again – on the Sunday after Easter, we will have one huge worship service outside on our church lawn, followed by lunch, inflatable games, a petting zoo, pony rides, youth Gaga ball, and lots of fun for all. Worship music will start at 10:00 on the grassy area in front of the church.
The VBS week at Christ Church is one of the most life-changing weeks of the year. Much time, energy, and resources are dedicated to this week because some kids who come through the doors may never have opened a Bible or know much about God at all.

This year the high school mission trip will be to Charleston, SC! In Charleston we will be joining up with other mission minded students through Group Missions to serve the community by building relationships and assisting orphans, widows, and to do community service for those in need in Charleston.

In 2012, two teams began providing a monthly meal to the residents of Partnership’s Family Violence Crisis Center. The Center accepts families in crisis at any time help is needed.
Kim Davis, a certified teacher for TCA, will lead this class on Thursday evenings beginning September 11, 6:00-7:00, in the Trinity-Woodmore Chapel.

Christ Church is hosting the second season of Run for God, a couch to 5K/10K ministry for children, youth, almost adults, and adults that incorporates Bible study, fellowship and small group training.
Giving to the Building Fund is exceeding our pledges! If you continue to give at this level, we can totally pay off our building debt in just over ten years at projected interest rates. East Ridge Elementary is in need of volunteers to help in their Kindergarten classes. The school’s eight Kindergarten classes need volunteers to aid teachers between 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Monday-Friday.
Fusion Singles for ages 30-59 will begin a new study Wednesday night, March 4, called Single Men Are Like Waffles, Single Women Are Like Spaghetti. The study is 6:30 – 7:30 in M-5 with social time at 6:00.

Inviting others to worship and other activities at Christ Church is easy, but it is also a very, very important thing for all of us to do.
The Care & Share Ministry provides meals for families in our church that are going through a crisis and are not involved in a Sunday School class or small group.
The Ladies Supper Club will be meeting Tuesday, April 7th at 6:00 p.m. at The Chop House on Gunbarrel Rd.
Room In The Inn is a local shelter for women and their children who are in need of short-term food and lodging. Christ Church provides the evening meal 2 times a month.
Openings are available in the donut cutting and coffee ministries. Donut ministry involves cutting and setting out donuts for two services; requires 1-2 hours about once per quarter.
Baked Blessings, a ministry of Christ Church, is an opportunity for individuals or families to bake cookies or brownies for people who are homeless.
