ECBT Presents W;T

East Brainerd Community Theater proudly presents its production of Wit, the Pulitzer-prize winning one act play by Margaret Edson.  Wit tells the story of 50-year-old English professor Dr. Vivian Bearing after she has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. As she nears the end of her life, she starts to ask hard questions about what she did wrong and what comes next. Wit Director Katie Olsen says, “It’s not a story about cancer. It’s a story about what’s important in life.”
In conjunction with the production, CUMC’s cancer support group Supporting Our Sisters (SOS) will help with concessions and ticket sales. Supporting Our Sisters provides education, promotes awareness and offers hope and encouragement to women coping with cancer. All donations before and after the show will go to support SOS.
Wit will be presented Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 22, 23 and 24 at 7:30 pm with a matinee, Sunday, February 25 at 2:30. Advance tickets available online through Eventbrite  for $10 (plus service fee) beginning 2/2/18 by clicking here . Tickets can be purchased at Christ UMC lobby Monday through Wednesday, Feb 19 -21.
