If you are interested in helping to make a difference in someone’s life then L.E.A.D. might just be a mission for you! L.E.A.D is a program that promotes one-on-one relationships that encourage sustainable change and development.
Adults participate in a variety of classes, beginning with financial education that is a reflection of the needs of the individual. Adults are paired with an Encourager who assists in classroom work and checks on them during the week.  Students K-12 are paired with a Homework Helper. Each week they review homework assignments or other school work. Child care is available for infants through preschool.
Meals are provided free for the adult participants and children of those families participating. 5:00-6:00 PM. Classes and homework help are from 6:00-7:00 PM. LEAD begins August 22nd.
Volunteer opportunities include encourager, homework helper, prayer partner and administrative help. To volunteer or for more information contact Lindsey Gallahar at 423-892-9363 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
