Holy Week at Christ Church
Holy Week is fast approaching and we have special services planned to help you experience this time of preparation leading to one of the most exciting celebrations in the life of the church, Easter Sunday! You do not have to be a member of our church or even a United Methodist to join us for our Holy week services. All are welcome to join us!! Check out our Holy Week Schedule...
*A nursery will be provided for all of our Holy Week Services.
*All services will be available for streaming on Livestream and Facebook Live.
Sunday, April 2nd - Palm / Passion Sunday
**Each of our Palm Sunday services will begin with a palm parade. We invite all children to participate. If children want to participate in the PALM PARADE they will need to be in the gym by 9:20 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. Service and/or 11:05 a.m. for the 11:15 a.m. Services.
9:30 a.m. Gospel/Contemporary Service (Sanctuary) - Our praise team, choir & band, & will lead us in worship as we celebrate Palm Sunday together and hear a message from pastor Nathan Malone.
11:15 a.m. Blended Traditional Service (Sanctuary) - Our Sanctuary Choir and ensembles will lead us in worship on this special day through music and a message from pastor Nathan Malone.
11:15 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service (Commons) - Our Commons Contemporary Worship Team will lead us in worship and pastor Nathan Malone will bring a Palm Sunday message.
*Sunday School and Children’s Worship will be offered for 9:30 & 11:15 a.m. services.
Holy Thursday, April 6th, 7:00 p.m. (Sanctuary)
On Holy Thursday we remember some of the last moments Jesus spent with his disciples, and share in a service of Holy Communion.
Good Friday,April 7th, 7:00 p.m. (Sanctuary)
Our Good Friday service will begin with a message from our Senior pastor, Nathan Malone, followed by the musical, “It Is Finished,” by Mary McDonald. The musical will include choir, orchestra, and narration. No worship service better prepares us to celebrate Easter than Good Friday, and this year's service will be dramatic & moving as we continue our journey through Holy Week.
Easter Sunday, April 9th-
7:00 a.m. - Sunrise Service
Join us on the lawn outside the Commons Atrium for this special celebration of the Resurrection. Willie Kitchens will lead us in worship in an acoustic style and pastor David will share a Resurrection message with us.
9:30 a.m. Gospel/Contemporary & 11:15 a.m. - Blended Traditional (Sanctuary Services)
We will have two blended worship services in the Sanctuary. The 9:30 service will lean more towards the Gospel/Contemporary style and the 11:15 service will lean more towards traditional. Both services will include choir, orchestra, band, and a praise team. We will celebrate the Resurrection with hymns, songs of praise, special music, and a message from our Senior Pastor, Nathan Malone.
11:15 a.m. - Commons Worship Service - Contemporary
Worship with us in the Commons as we celebrate the Resurrection Contemporary style, and hear a message from our Senior Pastor Nathan Malone.
*Sunday School and Children’s worship will be offered for 9:30 & 11:15 a.m. services.
Fun-Day Sunday, April 16th - Rain or Shine!!

ENJOY MUSIC From Willie Kitchens & friends! It all begins on the grassy area at the far left of the church. Bring your own folding or camp chair and come early for the best seating positions.

Join us for our Fun-Day Sunday Worship Service!! Senior Pastor Nathan Malone will share a message and we will hear more music from each of our choirs, bands, praise singers and more. A free lunch on the grounds and games for youth and children will follow the service.
