Purpose-Driven Prayer Bead Event

Women, do you struggle with prayer? Is it hard for you to stay focused or even know what to say? Did you know that Protestants also use prayer beads? Women's Ministry hopes you'll join dozens of other women to make your own prayer beads and learn how to pray with confidence on Tuesday, July 30, 6:30-8:30, in the Multipurpose Room. Childcare and snacks will be provided. Tickets are $10 and will be available on Sunday mornings at the Info Desk and weekdays in the church office.  For centuries, Christians have been using beads or stones to pray. From the pebbles used by the desert fathers and mothers, to the Catholic rosary, to the more recent protestant prayer beads, Christians across the world have used these tools to connect to God. They can help guide your thoughts and words. They also serve as a visual cue to remind you to pray and that God is with us.
We hope you will invite your friends and join us for an enjoyable and meaningful evening!
