Needle Arts for Service
This group of women share a passion for the study of scripture, a love of needlework, and a desire to reach out to others. It’s members quilt, sew, knit, crochet and/or embroider. In service to God’s people within CUMC, the group makes quilts for display around the church during Advent and Easter. To reach out to God’s people outside of the church, the group makes quilts and afghans for individuals living at the Crisis Resource Center, a shelter provided by the Partnership for Families, Children, and Adults. Group members also produce items for their own use and for other organizations they support.
The group meets every Tuesday from 1-4 pm in room A-3 of the Adult Building and all skill levels are welcome. Contact Jaime Lacey, for additional information.
