Information for Prospective Students

Thank you for considering Christ Academy Preschool for your child’s preschool experience.  Our preschool is a non-profit organization licensed by the State of Tennessee.  Each year as we consider fees and tuition costs, we evaluate the importance of maintaining a quality program for your child with a dedicated and experienced staff.

In our ongoing efforts to improve, this year we have:

• • again been named a 3-star program by Tennessee Child Care Licensing.  This means we have achieved the highest rating given during the evaluating process.
  • maintained an exemplary staff of teachers & assistants
  • an assistant for the Pre-K classrooms
  • continued to upgrade the curriculum to include more math and science activities as well as literacy skills in preparation for kindergarten
  • maintained a second Pre-K class
  • purchased more physical education equipment
  • painted classrooms and hallways
  • continued to provide consumable supplies such as baby wipes, gloves, and paper towels as well as art supplies, books, puzzles, and various teaching aids
  • continued to take steps to meet all new state requirements for licensed preschools
  • offered speech, hearing, and vision screenings
  • every staff person completing at least 18 hours of additional training
  • offered chapel, music and physical education classes
  • presented an end-of-year program with children ages 2 through Pre-K
  • offered special programs related to curriculum for each age group
