Room in the Inn

The mission of Chattanooga Room in the Inn is to empower women and children experiencing homelessness to become self-sufficient by offering a temporary home while providing programs and services necessary to meet their goals. Chattanooga Room in the Inn (CRITI) is a three to nine month residential program for homeless women and children. Services provided at CRITI are free of charge and include transitional housing, three meals a day, access to affordable or free health care, life skills training, parenting classes, mentoring, assistance with finding affordable housing, and case management services. This program allows the women and their children to find stability and thereby increase their opportunities and chances for independence when they leave the program.  Christ Church supports CRITI by providing teams that prepare meals twice a month for their residents.  For more information visit
Chattanooga Room in the Inn is a residential program for homeless women and children that empowers them to become self-sufficient.  While in the program women and children are not only given shelter but also skills, training, and health care to prepare them for a more sustainable life.  Please pray for the residents of CRITI, that their hearts and minds would be open to making life changes to help them get back on their feet.  Pray for the staff and volunteers at CRITI, that they would be a loving guide to the women and children in the program.
