Christ Church is known for its generosity throughout the year, but especially during the holidays. Each year our members give thousands of Christmas gifts to families in need. This year, our Angel Tree gifts will be going to children that live in poverty served by The Samaritan Center and to senior adults that do not have family or much income and are served by The Elder Service Department.
Our Angel Trees will be set up on Sunday, November 24th as part of our Gracious Giving Market located in the Youth Center. Additionally the Angel Trees will be in both the Sanctuary and Commons Atrium on December 1st. The angel tags describe the age, gender and present request for hundreds of children and elderly living in poverty (pink-girl, blue-boy, green-senior male, yellow-senior female). There will also be purple stockings, which are small stocking stuffer items for children. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child or elderly person this holiday season.
These gifts should be returned to Christ Church on Sunday, December 8th between 8:15-11:30am. We request that all presents purchased are not wrapped. Instead, we will be collecting wrapping paper, tape and gift bags.
