Mustard Tree Ministry

In the months that have a fifth Thursday, our church partners with Red Bank UMC to prepare and serve food to those in need, some homeless, that take part in the Mustard Seed Ministry. The Mustard Tree Ministry empowers individuals to create a better life through Community and in the presence of Christ. Participants meet for Bible Study, fellowship and this hot meal. The meal is served at First Baptist Church, 401 Gateway Avenue, 37402.

Servers are needed to put food on plates, bring the meal to our guests, clean up, offer a kind word and give a welcoming smile. Servers should arrive at 5:45 PM and are generally finished by 7:00 PM. This is a great opportunity for individuals, service groups, and families with high school aged children to serve those in need.
