Ways to Serve During Quarantine
Here are a few ways we can still serve while we are home.
- Purchase Seriously Good Coffee from Amazon.com, the proceeds from that purchase go to support the Costa Rica Methodist Children's home.
- Serve this week by praying for those affected by the storms and those helping them recover.
- If you are well contact the Chattanooga Food Bank to either donate food or volunteer.
- The Bethlehem Center: While schools are out The Beth will be providing snack packs and at-home activities for their Read to Lead students. They need individually wrapped snack items (chips, fruit cups, granola bars, juice, etc) and activities like coloring books, puzzles, crayons, etc. The Beth also has a Food Pantry that provides for adults and senior citizens. The pantry needs peanut butter, jelly, cereal, and other non-perishable food items. You can buy online and have it shipped directly to The Beth at 200 West 38th Street Chattanooga, TN 37410 or you can drop it by the church in the bin located outside the commons entrance.
Pantry Pile Up -This month Christ Church is collecting home buckets for Zimbabwe. Please package below items inside a new 5-gallon bucket w/ lid. Donations should be place dropped off at the Commons Entrance of the church. If the building is locked just leave outside the doors. We understand some of these items are hard to find. If you cannot find an item, please place a note on the bucket of what it is missing.
