"Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and proclaim to her that her hard service has been completed, that her sin has been paid for, that she has received from the LORD’s hand double for all her sins." Isaiah 40:1-2

 

In these two verses, we see an example of a balance we all need in life. We need those who will hold us accountable as well as those who will give us support. We are also called to provide that balance for others.

Joseph made the best of a situation over which he had no control. We all get “dealt a bad hand” in various ways and times in life, but it can be overcome.

A common message throughout the Bible is that when we treat people right, life is as God intended it to be.

Scheduling rest (for body, mind and spirit) into your rhythm of life will produce a healthy life.

The primary factor in experiencing life at its best is letting God be our guide in all of it.
